Dhurandhar, the recent Bollywood hit starring Ranveer Singh, is crushing it at the box office! The film raked in over ₹23 crore on its fourth day, crossing ₹126 crore in just three days and is around 160 crores for five days. This success is amplifying Singh’s star power, with an impressive cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal, under Aditya Dhar’s direction.
In a blockbuster deal, Netflix acquired Dhurandhar's streaming rights for a whopping ₹130 crore, covering both Part 1 and Part 2 (₹65 crore each). This is Ranveer Singh’s biggest OTT deal yet, a major career boost. According to reports, the deal highlights the film’s growing digital clove.
Dhurandhar outshines Ranveer's past films in OTT deals ’83 (2021) sold for ₹30 crore to Netflix, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) fetched ₹80 crore from Prime Video. Dhurandhar smashes these figures, signalling a hit.
Globally, Dhurandhar is a major success, collecting nearly ₹160 crore in five days, with $4+ million (₹50 crore) from overseas. The final numbers are expected to be high, boosted by the OTT deal. Part 2 drops early next year.
