Pradeep Ranganathan's highly anticipated film LIK (Love Insurance Kompany), directed by Vignesh Shivan and starring Krithi Shetty, has been postponed for the second time, disappointing fans. Originally set for a Diwali release, it was earlier pushed to December 18 due to Dude's release, but now it's reportedly delayed again to February 2026, targeting Valentine's weekend.
The film, Pradeep's biggest in terms of budget and scale, follows a futuristic love story with a unique twist. Despite mixed reviews, his recent hit Dude grossed ₹100 crore, adding pressure for LIK's success. Pending works are cited as the reason for the latest delay, with no official confirmation yet.
LIK boasts a star-studded cast including SJ Suryah, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, and Mysskin. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's Rowdy Pictures, along with Seven Screen Studio, are backing the project. Anirudh Ravichander scores the music, while Ravi Varman and Sathyan Sooryan handle cinematography.
With its blend of romance and comedy, fans are eager for an update. The team aims for a February 2026 release coinciding with Valentine's day.
