NTR is diving headfirst into his next big project, Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel, with an intense schedule of high-octane action sequences at Ramoji Film City. The actor is taking a bold step by performing all stunts himself, ditching body doubles for a more authentic experience.
"The days of body doubles are over," says a source close to the project, highlighting NTR’s commitment to delivering edge of the seat thrills. NTR’s dedication shows in his chiseled physique, evident from his recent workout videos that left fans in awe.
He’s joining the league of superstars like Salman Khan, who’s also opting for real stunts in his latest film. "Every superstar is Tom Cruising now, and so is NTR," the source added. The night shoots are set to run for three weeks in December, with a possible extension.
Interestingly, NTR has kept his family in the dark about the risks involved, focusing on bringing a gripping story to life. Dragon promises themes of power and rebellion, with Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead and a potential cameo by Rishab Shetty. The film is slated for a June 25, 2026, release.
