Dulquer Salmaan's latest period drama, Kaantha, is set to make its digital debut on Netflix, according to reports. The film, which hit theaters on November 14, 2025, has received praise for its gripping storyline and performances. Kaantha marks the Tamil cinema debut of Bhagyashri Borse and is expected to stream on Netflix from December 12 in multiple Indian languages, including Tamil and Telugu.
Set in 1950s Madras, Kaantha explores the complex relationship between Ayya (Samuthirakani), a revered filmmaker, and T.K. Mahadevan (Salmaan), a rising star.
