Police Revealed Lavish Lifestyle Of iBOMMA Ravi

iBOMMA Ravi Jailed

The Nampally Court has ordered a 14 day judicial remand for iBomma admin Immadi Ravi, who was produced before the court on Wednesday. Ravi is facing five cases, and the Cyber Crime Police have filed PT warrants in three other cases. He has already completed five days of custody in one case. The court is expected to announce its decision on the custody petition shortly.

During the five day interrogation, CCS officials extracted key information from Ravi, revealing that he had stored thousands of movies on the hard disks seized from him. Ravi allegedly purchased pirated films through Telegram and uploaded them to iBomma and Boppa TV websites. He also promoted betting apps by sending APK links to users, earning crores of rupees through these promotions. Transactions amounting to ₹20 crore were discovered in his bank accounts.

iBomma founder Immadi Ravi lived a lavish, globe-trotting lifestyle, travelling to a new country almost every week. He sourced films from other websites and Telegram channels, enhanced their quality, and uploaded them to iBomma. Ravi operated servers in the Netherlands and Switzerland, using a Content Management System (CMS) to control content placement and user redirection. He designed posters and prepared links for streaming and downloading, with help from a friend, Nikhil.
