Young hero Shree Nandu has secured the big backing of Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media for his upcoming film Psych Siddhartha. Directed by Varun Reddy and jointly produced by Shree Nandu and Shyam Sunder Reddy Thudi under the banners of Spirit Media, Nanduness Keep Rolling Pictures, the movie is billed as an out and out youthful entertainer with Mad Max style madness.
The promotional campaign kicked off with the release of a madly humorous teaser, showcasing the eccentric world of a hyperactive Hyderabad youngster who reacts like a psych to every trivial situation. The teaser opens with a chaotic car ride where Siddhartha, played by Shree Nandu, vents his frustration over petty issues, declaring himself a loser who has lost faith in finding success.
Sporting long messy hair, a thick beard, and intense energy, Nandu nails the Hyderabad slang and hyperactive persona with effortless flair. Yamini Bhaskar leads the female cast, supported by Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas, Sakshi Atree, and Mounika in pivotal roles. The film’s dialogue is peppered with local slang and candid outbursts, promising a wild and humorous journey that will resonate with youth audiences.
A young and talented technical crew backs the project. K. Prakash Reddy’s cinematography captures the film’s edgy tone, while Smaran Sai’s unique musical score elevates the fun quotient. Prateek Nuti handles editing, and notably, Shree Nandu has contributed to the additional screenplay, adding his personal touch. The sound design by Chathurvedhi Thirunagari and Uday Appala, mixing by Santhosh Vodnala, and color grading by Sri Sarathi Studios further enhance the visual and auditory experience.
