He recently scored a hit with Amaran but his latest ventures Madharaasi turned out to be a mixed venture. He is currently starring in Parasakthi under the direction of Sudha Kongara. The film stars Sreeleela as the female lead.
The film is progressing at a brisk pace and according to the latest the film completed its shoot. The makers are now busy with the post production work. The film is up for release during Sankranthi in 14 January 2026.

Parasakthi revolves around protests against Hindi implementation in South, especially Tamil Nadu. Rajendran, student leader lost his life while paying tributes to those who passed away in the police firing in the anti Hindi imposition on 27 Jan 1965. Sivakakrthikeyan is playing the role of Rajendran and so the climax will have a sad ending.
