Court summons Netflix

Court summons Netflix over Sameer Wankhade defamation case.. Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan made his debut as the director with Ba***ds of Bollywood  which is currently streaming on Netflix. It is bankrolled on Red Chillies Entertainment, which is owned by his parents Shah Rukh and Gauri.

However, trouble brewed for him when Ex Narcotic Bureau Officer Sameer Wankhade sued the makers approaching the Delhi High Court saying  “In reference to the series, there are posts trolling me, my wife, and my sister. It’s shocking. The defendants are surely not defending those posts.” He also objected to the scene in the film where  a character is shown raising the middle finger immediately after uttering the national slogan "Satyamev Jayate".

Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav said, “We appreciate that there is cause in your favour to approach this court, but there is a process to be followed.” The court posted the interim injunction application in the case is scheduled for hearing on October 30.
