He said "The director (Karthik Gattamneni) from Day 1 said this movie would have no song. But then, in between, they thought for commercial material there should be something. So they shot the Vibe song. Since they did not want to disturb the move and because Mahabir Lama's role is very strong and there is a goal to achieve. So, if a song is coming, then the goal gets deviated."

He revealed "Not at all. Mirai I had signed three years back. I wanted it to be my comeback film. But then it got delayed for three years. By the time I was offered Bhairvam it was a completely different character."It had different shades to it. It is a loud performance, he plays a villager. But Mirai is something else. My character is a world leader. He is a man who wants to defeat God and then becomes God himself,"

Speaking about his favourite roles, he said  "Growing up, Amrish Puri Ji. And the other was my Dad (Mohan Babu), the scariest one when we saw him as a villain. Joaquin Phoenix in 'The Gladiator' is also among my favourites."

About his drream role,he said , "I want to play the character of Duryodhana (from sage Valmiki's ancient text 'Mahabharata').
