Many speculated that Pawan Kalyan's son Akira Nandan would make his entry on the screen in this film. OG team discussed about casting Akira as the young Pawan Kalyan. Akash Srinivas who played the role of young Pawan Kalyan in the film got good response and fans felt that had Akira done the role, response would have been a sensation.
Even Akash felt the same and said he told the same to director Sujeeth who then confessed to him that he would have casted Akira in the role but for his height. Thus Pawan Kalyan's fans missed Akira treat for his height issue.
The film starred Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead and Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist while Thaman tuned the music.
