Emraan Hashmi who recently became popular allover as Omi Bau in OG begins the sequel to his 2007 cult classic Awarapan, titled Awarapan 2, has officially begun production in Bangkok. As the iconic character Shivam, He will be reprising his role, and excited to dive back into his journey.
The film is directed by Nitin Kakkar and written by Bilal Siddiqui, with production handled by Vishesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films. The original Awarapan gained cult status over the years, thanks to its powerful story, unforgettable music, and intense performances. Despite being a commercial failure initially, the film's impact has endured, and fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel.
With Awarapan 2, Emraan is aiming to deliver another gripping story of love and redemption, blending nostalgic elements with a brand new storyline.
