The new film "Hai Lesso" was launched in a grand ceremony today, attended by the core team and several special guests. Sudheer Anand, fondly known as Sudigaali Sudheer, is set to star in this rural drama, directed by Prasanna Kumar Kota in his directorial debut. The movie is produced by Siva Cherry and Ravikiran under the banner Vajra Varahi Cinemas, marking their production debut.
The title "Hai Lesso" is derived from a colloquial expression commonly used in farming communities, giving it an authentic rural touch. The title logo is creatively designed, shaped like a ship with a female leg forming the letter 'S'. A mysterious figure holding a weapon can also be spotted, adding a mythological and rustic tone to the film. The title poster features a regal foot adorned with golden anklets and toe rings, stepping onto a large green leaf, representing rituals and sacrifice.
The film boasts an impressive cast, including Natasha Singh and Naksha Saran as the heroines, while popular Kannada actress Akshara Gowda will be seen in a pivotal role. Shivaji, who recently impressed audiences with his intense performance in "Court", plays the antagonist in the movie. The film will have a very young and talented team of technicians, including Anudeep Dev scoring the music, Sujatha Siddarth handling cinematography, and Chota K Prasad taking care of editing.
The movie's theatrical release is planned in all south Indian languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. With a grand launch ceremony and a promising cast and crew, "Hai Lesso" is expected to make a mark in the film industry. VV Vinayak sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, and Director Prasanna Kumar himself called the action for the film's very first shot, marking the beginning of an exciting new project.
