Early Life & Education
Born in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, Dr. Murali began his academic journey in 1990 at pharmacy school in Karnataka. In 1999, he completed his Master’s degree at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
Academic & Professional Journey
He briefly worked as an Assistant Professor before moving to Bidiyah, Oman as a pharmacist. In 2003, he relocated to New York, attending Long Island University, Brooklyn, and expanded into business administration. Soon after, he earned pharmacist licensure in Michigan and moved to Saginaw, where he also worked at St. Mary’s of Michigan Hospital (now MyMichigan Health).
Entrepreneurship & Business
In 2007, he launched his first business, and in 2008 his first pharmacy. By 2009, he established the Ginjupalli Foundation. Over the years, he built multiple pharmacies including Birch Run Drugs, Maplewood Pharmacy, Value Center Pharmacies, Skip’s Pharmacy, and Canadian Lakes Pharmacy. He also ventured into Birch Run Deli (2014), Maplewood Coffee (2021), and even crypto-mining. At one point, he also developed a 12-pharmacy chain in India and invested in Aspiro Pharma.
Leadership in Education
In 2022, he took over St. Martinus University Faculty of Medicine, Curaçao, and as Chancellor has transformed it into a globally recognized institution with WFME-aligned accreditation. His leadership brought modern infrastructure, new research initiatives, and expanded opportunities for medical students pursuing U.S. and global licensure.
Philanthropy & Community
The Ginjupalli Foundation has organized medical, educational, and social service activities across India and the U.S. He personally contributed during the COVID-19 pandemic with over 4,000 vaccinations through his pharmacies. He also opened Sai Samaj of Saginaw, a cultural and spiritual community center.

From Guntur to Curaçao, Dr. Murali’s life has been one of resilience, entrepreneurship, and service. He balances global business operations, academic leadership, philanthropy, and mentorship, all while making time for family and friends. His journey inspires countless students, entrepreneurs, and professionals worldwide.
Entertainments & Film Industry
In 2025, Dr. Murali Ginjupalli has also entered the film industry by starting Samhit Entertainments. He earned a good reputation as a producer with his debut film Revu, which showcased his fine taste in cinema. He is now planning to produce many more films, with two already in their final stages. In addition, he is in discussions with top stars for a big project that will start soon. With these efforts, he is striving to create a special mark for himself on the Indian screen.
