Ajith Good Bad Ugly Returns To Netflix But As A Different Version

GBU Is Back On Netflix

The Tamil film "Good Bad Ugly" starring Ajith Kumar has returned to Netflix after a brief removal due to a copyright dispute. The film was taken down from the platform after veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja sued the makers for using his songs without permission. Ilaiyaraaja is known for taking strict action against unauthorized use of his music, and the court ruled in his favor, ordering the removal of the songs from the film.

The new version of "Good Bad Ugly" on Netflix features background music by GV Prakash instead of Ilaiyaraaja's iconic songs, including "Ottha Ruba Tharen," "Ilamai Idho Idho," and "En Jodi Manja Kuruvi." Despite this change, the film remains an action-packed thriller directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The movie follows a former gangster who returns to his past ways to help his son in a fake case, and it has been a massive hit at the box office.

"Good Bad Ugly" has been a commercial success, grossing significantly and becoming the second-highest grosser of 2025 in Tamil cinema so far. The film features a star-studded cast, including Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, and Yogi Babu, among others. With its engaging storyline and impressive performances, "Good Bad Ugly" continues to entertain audiences on Netflix.
