Netflix removes Good Bad Ugly. Ajith's Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran got mixed reviews at the box office. While the film entertained all his fans as the makers took them to the nostalgia including the hit songs of his previous films, the same landed them in legal tangle as the makers and singers of the songs and films dragged to court slapping cases.
In the midst of all this, Madras High Court passed the direction preventing the makers from using the songs anywhere. In the midst of all this, OTT platform Netflix took a shocking decision and removed the film completely.
Netflix decided to stream the film only if High Court permits it. This is a huge blow to all the movie lovers and Ajith's fans. Ilayaraja dragged the makers to court against the use of his songs, “Otha Ruba Tharen” from Naattupura Paattu (1996)“Ilamai Idho Idho” from Sakalakala Vallavan (1982) “En Jodi Manja Kuruvi” from Vikram (1986) in the film.
The film starred Trisha, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Kaartikeya Dev, Prabhu, Priya Prakash Varrier, Sunil, Rahul Dev, Redin Kingsley, and Raghu Ram in important roles.
