Super Star Rajinikanth's Coolie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj got mixed response at the box office. The film starred Nagarjuna in a powerful role and also featured Aamir Khan in a cameo.
However those who watched the film felt that Aamir Khan was insulted by the makers by giving such an inconsequential role. Later, rumours spread that Aamir Khan was unhappy with Coolie and director Lokesh Kanagaraj so much so that he even criticised the him and called off his super hero project with him.
Rumours spread that Aamir Khan gave greensignal to the project only due to Rajinikanth and didnot even hear the story and Lokesh Kanagaraj's writing was too bad. Now, Aamir Khan's team clarified on these reports that have been goving viral over the last few days.
His team said "Mr Aamir Khan has given no such interview and has made no negative comments about the film 'Coolie'." The team clarified "Mr Khan has the highest regard for Mr Rajinikanth, Mr Lokesh and in fact the entire team of 'Coolie'. The film has done over Rs 500 crore at the box office which speaks for itself,"
