Kollywood star Sivakarthikeyan, who is known for doing different genre entertainers and he recently entertained movie lovers with his film Madharaasi directed by Murgadoss.
Now he is getting ready to entertain movie lovers with the film Parasakthi. The film is directed by Sudhga Kongara and it is generating tremendous interest among movie lovers. According to the latest, the makers locked the release date.
The film will be releasing as Pongal special on 14 Jan 2026. Sharing the details, the makers released a new poster in which Sivakarthikeyan looked intense.
The film stars Sreeleela as the female lead while Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa , Abbas, Dev Ramnath, Prithvi Rajan, Guru Somasundaram, Basil Joseph, Papri Ghosh, in key roles.
The film revolves around the Anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu that happened in 1965.GV.Prakash Kumar is tuning music for the film produced by Akash Bhaskaran under Dawn Pictures banner.
Parasakthi revolves around protests against Hindi implementation in South,especially Tamil Nadu. Rajendran, student leader lost his life while paying tributes to those who passed away in the police firing in the anti Hindi imposition on 27 Jan 1965. Sivakakrthikeyan is playing the role of Rajendran and so the climax will have a sad ending.
