Fans unhappy with Janhvi in the remake of Sridevi classic. Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor has been struggling to score commercial hits at the box office. Her latest film Param Sundari is fizzling out at the box office. She appeared in NTR's Devara 1 and is now starring in Ram Charan's Peddi.
In the meantime, reports are coming that Janhvi will be starring in her mother Sridevi's yesteryear classic Chaal Baaz. Pankaj Parashar announced Chaalbaaz in London in 2021 with Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. However, now he decided to cast Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
Sources shared that Janhvi “has jumped onto the chance of playing the lead role in Chaalbaaz”.A source shared “For Janhvi, Chaalbaaz is a lot more than just a film. It's an emotion. Following this, fans expressed their unhappiness over the choice. They said instead of Janhvi, Shanya Kapoor would be the better choice.
Many fans have suggested that actor Sanya Malhotra will "fit the bill perfectly."
