Teja Sajja's highly anticipated action-adventure film Mirai has been pushed back to September 12, 2025. The film's original release date was set for September 5, but the makers decided to delay it due to distributor concerns and the director's desire to improve post-production aspects. The delay is also reportedly to avoid a box office clash with Anushka Shetty's film Ghaati.
The film's director, Karthick Ghattamaneni, confirmed that nearly 1,800 VFX shots are part of the film. He added that post-production is almost complete, but the team decided to take another week to polish details like color spacing and effects.
