Bombay High Court clears decks for Yogi Adityanath film. "Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi",based on the book  The Monk Who Became Chief Minister authored by  Shantanu Gupta finally got a huge relief.

It is known that CBFC refused to censor the film demanding 29 cuts before asking the makers to cut 21 scenes from the film and repeatedly delaying the film's censor formaltiies.

Samrat Cinematics India Pvt. Ltd, who are bankrolling the film approached the Bombay High Court and got a breather. The Court shocked the Censor Board clearing decks for the film release without any cuts. The judges mentioned “We have seen the movie in its context, and we don’t see that anything needs to be re-edited. We have paused at every point you flagged. We have noted everything. We don’t find anything objectionable."

The Judges questioned Senior Advocate Ram Apte, who appeared for the Censor Board when he argued that the film had obscenity and could be defamatory towards Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, whether he had seen the film, he answered in negative.

The judges asked the makers to include an additional disclaimer could be included to clarify that the film is a creative work inspired by fictional characters.The film stars Anant Joshi in the lead role.
