Samantha Ruth Prabhu has revealed that she's doing fewer films now, choosing to prioritize projects that truly resonate with her. After 15 years in the industry, she's reached a point where she's more selective about her work. "I've reached a point where I do things I'm extremely passionate about," she said. By focusing on passion projects, Samantha aims to deliver more impactful performances.
Prioritizing Physical and Mental Health
Samantha has decided to reduce her workload to prioritize her physical and mental health. "I no longer shoot five films at a time," she said. "I've realized I need to listen to my body, so I've reduced the amount of work I do." By doing so, she's able to focus on projects that matter to her, resulting in higher quality work. "The quantity may have reduced, but the quality of projects has definitely increased," she added.
Samantha recently made her production debut with the Telugu film Subham under her banner Tralala Moving Pictures, where she also had a cameo role. Her last full-fledged role was in the Prime Video series Citadel: Honey Bunny, opposite Varun Dhawan. The show received praise for its action-packed sequences and emotional drama.
Upcoming Projects and Future Endeavours
Samantha has several exciting projects lined up, including Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, a high-octane series directed by Raj and DK, alongside Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi. She also announced Bangaram on her birthday earlier this year. With a focus on quality projects, Samantha is set to deliver more memorable performances in the future.
