Director of Malayalam Industry Hit Manjummel Boys, Chidambaram's next project, titled "Balan", has officially begun production. The film is a collaboration between KVN Productions and Thespian Films, with a script penned by Jithu Madhavan, the director of Blockbuste, Fahadh Faasil Starrer "Aavesham".
Chidambaram, has chosen to work with new actors to avoid predictability and prejudice associated with familiar faces. The film boasts an impressive technical crew, including Shyju Khalid as director of photography, Sushin Shyam as music director, and Vivek Harshan as editor. KVN Productions, led by Venkat K Narayana, has partnered with Thespian Films, headed by Shailaja Desai Fenn, to bring this project to life.
With a traditional pooja ceremony marking the start of production, the film is set to captivate audiences with its unique storyline and talented cast. The collaboration between Chidambaram and Jithu Madhavan has generated considerable buzz. KVN Productions is also working on other notable projects, including "Toxic" featuring Yash and "Jana Nayagan" starring Thalapathy Vijay.
The production houses have confirmed that regular shooting is underway, and more updates about "Balan" will be revealed soon. As part of KVN Productions' diverse slate for 2025, "Balan" marks the company's debut in the Malayalam film industry, following a successful venture with big-budget films in other languages. It is also being heard that KVN Productions is venturing in Tollywood with a MEGA Project.
