The highly anticipated spy action thriller "War 2" has been making waves at the box office, with impressive collections in its opening weekend. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in lead roles, the film has already crossed the Rs 150 crore milestone within just four days of release. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, "War 2" is the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe, boasting a massive budget of Rs 300-400 crore.
On its fourth day, "War 2" earned around Rs 31 crore (India net), taking its total India net collections to an estimated Rs 173.6 crore (Rs 142.6 crore in the first three days plus Rs 31 crore on the fourth day). The film's worldwide gross stands at Rs 250 crore with Rs 50 crore coming from the overseas market.
The film's performance in different languages has been notable, with the Hindi version recording a 27.85% occupancy and Telugu shows standing at 30.12% occupancy on the fourth day. As part of the YRF Spy Universe, "War 2" has set the stage for the next chapter of the franchise, introducing Bobby Deol in the post-credits scene along with younger role of Alia Bhatt in Alpha.
