It is known that Mohan Lal and Jeethu Joseph captured the imagination of all with Drishyam and its sequel Drishyam 2. The film was remade in Telugu and Hindi with Venkatesh and Ajay Devgn in the lead. In Tamil, while the first part was remade by Kamal Haasan as Paapanasam, the sequel was not made.
Mohan Lal and Jeethu Joseph decided to do Drishyam 3 and at that time, the makers decided to simultaneously shoot the film in Hindi with Ajay Devgn and in Telugu with Venkatesh. Now Jeethu Joseph said “There were demands on making Malayalam and Hindi versions together, but we haven’t decided on those matters. There were initially some plans to start in Hindi first, but after a hint was given that this would be dealt with legally, they backed off from it.”
Jeethu Joseph is readying screenplay for Drishyam 3. He said “I finished writing the climax of ‘Drishyam 3’ last night. I’ve been under immense pressure for a long time.”
Jeethu Joseph is also busy with other projects like ‘Mirage’ and ‘Valathu Vashathe Kallan’.
