The trailer for upcoming film "Maareesan" directed by Sudheesh Shankar has been released, showcasing the reunion of Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil. The two actors previously collaborated in the powerful political drama "Maamannan" (2023). In "Maareesan", Fahadh Faasil plays a thief who forms an unlikely bond with a wealthy man battling Alzheimer's, played by Vadivelu.
The trailer suggests that the friendship between Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu's characters begins as a facade, with Fahadh planning to loot Vadivelu. However, things take a turn as they navigate the streets together. The trailer also hints at an intense thriller looming in the background, with Kovai Sarala's character, a cop, hot on Fahadh's heels.
"Maareesan" features a talented cast, including Vivek Prasanna, Sithara, P.L Thenappan, Livingston, Renuka, Saravana Subbiah, Krishna, Haritha, and Telephone Raja. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is produced by Super Good Films. V Krishna Moorthy is credited with the story, screenplay, dialogue, and creative direction.
Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu are both busy with upcoming projects. Fahadh will next be seen in Mahesh Narayanan's "Patriot", a star-studded action-thriller co-starring Mammootty, Mohanlal, Kunchacko Boban, and Nayanthara. "Maareesan" is set to release on July 25, promising a fun-filled ride with its unique blend of comedy and thriller elements.
