Controversial film Bad Girl completes censor. Controversial tamil film Bad Girl directed by Varsha Bharath is finally set to see the arc lights. The film completed the censor formalities and got U/A certificate.
A huge controversy erupted over the portrayal of the brahmins when the film's teaser was released in January as a Brahmin girl was shown smoking and drinking.
It is known that Bad Girl is produced by Vetrimaaran and is presented by Anurag Kashyap. The film won many accolades at the international level. The film got NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam and the Young Jury Award for Best Feature Film at the Cinema Jove - Valencia International Film Festival.
Anjali Sivaraman, Shanthi Priya, Hridhu Haroon, TeeJay Arunasalam, Sashank Bommireddipalli, and Saranya Ravichandran are starring in the film for which music is tuned by Amit Trivedi. Preetha Jayaraman, Jagadeesh Ravi and Prince Anderson handled the cinematography and Radha Sridhar handled the editing.
