Suriya Vaadivaasal postponed

Suriya-Vetrimaaran Vaadivaasal postponed. When Suriya and Vetrimaaran came up together for an interesting film titled Vaadivaasal, expectations increased. The film's promotions generated interested and in the midst of all this, shocking developments happened.

Vetrimaaran announced that the film has been postponed. The film was based on Tamil Nadu popular sport Jallikattu and it has been in pre production for quite some time. Following multiple delays, Vetrimaaran decided to put the film on a backburner.

Vetrimaaran now announced his next project with Simbu. Vetrimaaran decided to take Simbu's project forward after consulting Dhanush. Vetrimaaran said "Vaadivaasal, as always got delayed in writing, and there are some technical aspects, and safety of artistes and animals, which has caused some delay,”

Now Vetrimaaran's film with Simbu enter into Vada Chennai world. In the meantime, Suriya is currently busy with the project with Venky Atluri. Vetrimaaran earlier said "Dhanush sir had suggested I meet Simbu to discuss a new project, and within a few hours everything fell into place. So, after meeting Simbu, I called up Dhanush sir — since he is the producer and owner of the rights to any property that comes from the world of Vada Chennai —and told him that I could do this project in two ways. One, as something that's part of the Vada Chennai world. Two, as a standalone project. And he said I could do whatever I feel comfortable with, creatively speaking, and that he'll inform his team about it, that he has no issues with it, that he will give his NOC."
