The makers released the trailer of the film which was shot in location at Grand Prix races. The trailer showed the inside thrills of the F1 driver and what happens when he comes out of his retirement.
Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a Formula One driver who raced in the 1990s, has a horrible crash, forcing him to retire from Formula One and start racing in other disciplines. A Formula One team owner and friend, Ruben (Javier Bradem), contacts Hayes and asks him to come out of retirement to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua "Noah" Pearce (Damson Idris) for the Apex Grand Prix team (APXGP).
The trailer begins with Brad Pitt's character Sony Hayes who is questioned for his risky priorities during the game. Firstly, he is the one who is called to fill in after retirement, but there are no signs of him playing by the game. He wants it to be a one-man show but as Kate (Kerry Condon) asserts, this is very much a team effort.
Ehren Kruger provided the screenplay for the film which stars Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem in important roles.
