Kantara prequel is the most awaited film across the country. The film is the continuation of the blockbuster film Kantara directed by Rishab Shetty.
The film's shooting is in full swing and it is racing dor release on 2 October 2025. In the meantime, it is coming out that a mishap resulted in the demise of a junior artist during the shoot.
Kapil, a junior artist hailing from Kerala got drowned in the Souparnika River on Tuesday afternoon. Kapil got into the river to have a swim but the he got swept away by the strong under current.
Local authorities along with the fire department conducted the search operations and recovered the body. Jayaram, Kishore, Jayasurya and Jisshu Sen Gupta are playing important roles in the film. Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music director for the film which is produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films.
