Akhil to step up the accelerator. All eyes are on Akkineni Prince Akhil's upcoming projects. Sometime back reports came that Akhil would be starring in the direction of Murali Krishna Abburu and the project would be titled Lenin. Earlier reports came that the film would start shooting next year.
Now inside talk is the regular shoot will start from tomorrow and in 20days half of the film's shoot will be completed. If this shooting continues at such speed, the film may up for release during Dasara this year. Inside talk is the makers planned to wrap the shoot in two Telugu states rather than go for foreign locations.
The film has Sreeleela as the female lead and it has Rayalaseema backdrop. Earlier reports came that Scam fame Prateik Gandhi would be playing the antagonist role but it is yet to be confirmed.
Though everything sounds good, it is not clear whether Lenin will directly take films like Akhanda Thaandavam, Sambarala Yeti Gattu, Kantara 2 headon. If not Dasara, the makers are considering either Diwali or X Mas dates. Annapurna Studios is producing the film in a prestigious way.
