Varun Tej's highly anticipated pan-India period action drama, "Matka," is gearing up for a major 40-day shooting schedule starting on June 12th. The film, based on the gambling scene in Vizag between 1950 and 1980, is directed by Karuna Kumar.
The production design team is currently constructing elaborate sets to recreate vintage Vizag, setting the stage for key scenes and songs to be filmed during this extensive schedule. This schedule promises to be crucial, wrapping up a significant portion of the film's production. The makers aim to complete all filming formalities by September end.
Adding to the anticipation, popular Tamil composer GV Prakash is composing the music for the film. "Matka" is a joint collaboration between Vyra Entertainments and SRT Entertainments.
With its compelling storyline, star-studded cast, and impressive production scale, "Matka" is poised to be a captivating cinematic experience. Stay tuned for more updates as the film progresses towards its release.
