Though there are several rumours popped about casting Indonesian actor as female lead and then Deepika Padukone's name surfaces as heroine. Even news about Nagarjuna playing key role also circulated. But, nothing is official so far.
In a recent update, the production house behind the highly anticipated film 'SSMB 29' has cleared up some confusion regarding the involvement of casting director Viren Swami. Contrary to earlier reports, Sri Durga Arts, the production company, has confirmed that Viren Swami is not part of their project.
few days ago, it was reported that Viren Swami had joined the team of 'SSMB 29' and was tasked with finding a parallel lead actor alongside Mahesh Babu. However, the production house released a statement denying the involvement of Viren Swami. They have asked to disregard these reports and wait for official announcements about the cast and crew.
In their official statement, the production house wrote, "It has come to our notice that the prominent publication has published an article regarding the casting of SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's project. We want to clarify that, contrary to what is stated in the article, Mr Viren Swami is not involved in any part of our film in any way. All official announcements will be made by the production house if and when necessary."
