GV Prakash and Aishwarya Rajesh's latest film DeAr directed by Anand Ravichandran, which was released on 11th April has now locked its OTT release date. The film is scheduled to hit OTT giant Netflix on April 28. It was announced on their platform on the 'coming soon' section.
DeAr which hit theatres on April 11, received mixed reactions from audience as well as critics. The film ended up as a disappointment at the box office. The film also got dubbed into Telugu with the same title and received same fate. Tamil industry has a very short window of two weeks between theatrical and OTT release.
DeAr, is about Arjun (GV Prakash) and Deepika (Aishwarya Rajesh) get married in an arranged marriage set-up. While Arjun is a light sleeper, Deepika snores in her sleep. How the duo manage to get through this tricky situation, handle their disagreements and fights that erupt out of this, forms the story of this family drama.
The film features Rohini, Kaali Venkat, and Nandhini as GV Prakash's side of the family, and Ilavarasu, and Geeta Kailasam as Aishwarya's family members. Thalaivasal Vijay also plays a prominent role in DeAr.
