If there has been no hits in Telugu Film industry; by now Kollywood would have gone into severe financial troubles. With no direct and creative Tamil hits; entire Kollywood is standing on top of Tollywood roof with a probe machine trying to find out the story lines of our old and new hits.
Fresh in Kollywood are the remakes of ‘Kick’ (‘Thillalangadi’ of Jayam Ravi and Tamanna), Vikramarkudu (‘Siruthai’ of Karthi), Vedam (‘Vaanam’ of Simbu), Happy Days (‘Inidhu Inidhu’ of Prakashraj), Azad (‘Velayutham’ of Vijay) and few more to follow.
Analysts say that only difference between Kollywood and Tollywood business style is that, we Tollywood dub the hit Tamil Films directly into Telugu while clever Kollywood producers purchase the remake rights and then reproduce the movie to churn more profits and render a direct hit to their industry, there by offering food and bed for thousands of technicians.
Of course Tollywood is great but we still have more to change…
