The novel Coronavirus, or COVID-19, pandemic has spread across 200 countries. The United States, Italy and Spain have registered more deaths than China, where the outbreak started.
As many as 240,000 people in the US could die from COVID-19 and that’s only with strict social distancing measures in place, one of the government’s top doctors warned Tuesday.
The death toll in the United States has crossed 4000. The country now has 188,578 confirmed cases, by far the highest of any country, ahead of Italy, Spain and China.
The total number of Covid-19 cases in India has reached 1397, including 1238 active cases, while 124 people have been cured/discharged. As many as 35 people have died because of Covid-19, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
