Degree exams put off to April 7

The academic calendar of Osmania University was affected due to violence in old city since Saturday night.

 Though the state government indicated that efforts had been made to bring the situation under control, the Osmania University on Tuesday postponed degree examinations schedule to April 7 in all the constituent colleges as arson and riots continued to haunt the old city.

 In a press note, Osmania University Registrar stated that all degree examinations that were began on March 21 were indefinately postponed to April 7 due to disturbances in the old city.

 He also stated that the MBA examination scheduled to be held on Tuesday afternoon has been postponed indefinitely. The revised date of examination will be informed to candidates later.
