Court adjourns Abu Salem case to Feb 16

Hyderabad, Feb 1: The CBI court has adjourned the fake passport case of mafia don Abu Salem to Feb 16.The CBI officials produced Abu Salem, who is facing several charges in Mumbai and Hyderabad, before the CBI court at the Nampally Criminal Courts Complex on Monday under tight security.He is facing the charge of acquiring a passport after producing fake address in Andhra Pradesh.

The court has also issued summons to five witnesses in this connection. Since the CBI officials sought time to present the witnesses before the court, the case was adjourned to Feb 16, the Public Prosecutor said.The CBI Special Court said that the case will be studied once the process of the examining the witnesses begins on Feb 16.
