Journalist dead

Hyderabad,Nov 25 (INN): Ali Bin Abdullah,a senior sub-editor with the New Indian Express daily here,who was severely injured in a road mishap six months ago,died at the Care Hospital here on Tuesday night.Abdullah,who had been residing in BHEL Township,was returning home from Office in the night when he met with an accident.He was found by the police on the road bleeding and in an unconscious state.

Earlier,he was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital.Abdullah was shifted to Care Hospital at the behest of erstwhile Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhar Reddy.He continued to be in coma throughout his treatment at the hospital.A prolific writer, thirty-eight-year-old Abdullah was soft spoken,affable and a well mannered gentleman.He handled the features and films section of the NIE newspaper,where he worked last.
