Youth commits suicide before wedding

Warangal,Nov 23:A youth of Timmarayanipahad in Chinaraupeta mandal on Sunday committed suicide as he could not turn down the marriage fixed by his adamant parents and relatives who were opposed to his affair with another girl of the village.According to sources,Phaniraj was in love with a girl of Timmarayanipahad for the past four years.His parents,however, finalized his alliance with another girl belonging to a close relative against the wishes of Phaniraj.

The wedding was fixed for Sunday when Phaniraj decided to end his life as he found that it was of little use to go against the wishes of his parents.Meanwhile, the bride’s father who learnt that Phaniraj had an affair with another girl filed a complaint against him at Bhupatipeta police station in Guduru mandalm. On Saturday, the complainant died of a stroke at his village while  brooding over his daughter’s fate.Disturbed over these developments,Phaniraj also decided to take the extreme step and swallowed insecticide hours before the marriage was to be solemnized.
