Nalgonda,Oct 24: At least six people were killed on the spot and 11 others injured seriously when a Lorry-laden with wooden logs, heading towards Hyderabad from Mahabubabad lost control and turned turtle near Motkur in Nalgonda district in the wee hours of Saturday.According to police, all the deceased, were belonged to Satya tanda in Manchala mandalum in Rangareddy district. The deceased were working as daily labourers in the agriculture farms. Following the mishap a pall of gloom has descended in the village.All the seriously injured have been shifted to the Nalgonda Government General Hospital. Some of their condition is stated to be serious, according to the hospital sources.

The deceased have been identified as Meghavath Sagar, Shobhavath Lal, Angothu Kishan, Korra Srinu, Korra Ramesh and Meghwath Shourya.Nalgonda police have registered a case.In another mishap two people were killed on the spot when a car lost control and rammed into a tree near Diwancheruvu in Rajamundry in the East Godavari district on Saturday morning.Police said the identities of deceased are yet to be ascertained.Over speed and reckless driving were responsible for the mishap, police said. Diwancheruvu police have registered a case.
