Hyderabad, Oct 6: Tollywood actors are contributing their mite for the relief of the flood affected in the State.The latest to join the team is comedian Brahmanandam who has dispatched a van full of relief material to the flood affected areas. “The material contains bed-sheets, food, clothes and other requirements,” he told media persons. He said that a team from Annapurna Studios in the city will also visit the flood-hit areas to personally supervise the relief operations.

Junior N T Rama Rao has already donated Rs 20 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to be utilised for the flood victims while Ramchanran Teja has donated Rs 10 lakh to the fund. The Rajasekhar couple are actively taking part in the relief operations in the worst-hit Kurnool district.Al of them have met the Chief Minister, Mr K Rosaiah, and handed over the cheques to him to the respective amounts. Several other film personalities have donated liberally for the relief fund.
