Depression due to heavy rain in Coastal Andhra

Visakhapatnam, July 20 :-

The Cosatal Andhra Predesh wil experience heavy to very heavy rains in the next 24 hours following depression in the Bay of Bengal.

Officials in the Metrological Department here told TNN on Monday that the low pressure area that lay centred in the North Eastern part of Orissa has strengthened and developed into a depression. Following this heavy rains are likely in the North Costal Andhra Pradesh accompanied by gales with a velocity of 50 km to 60 km per hour.

The South Costal region of the State also will experience rains, the officials said and asked the fishermen not to venture in to the sea as the ocean will have high tides with the gales that will cause unexpected trouble to them. Parts of Telangana and Vidarbha also will experience moderate rainfall, the officials said.
