In India, Movies, Cricket and Politics are the most powerful aspects people really care about. Infact, these are the only things Indians follow and well aware of in their day to day life. Especially in the case of Cricket and Movies, the only places where people didn't care about caste, creed and religion are Movie theatres and Cricket stadiums only.

Movie stars and Cricketers enjoy huge fan following among the people and some of them even attain demi god status. Cricketers retire after a certain age but that is not the case for movie stars and politicians. For this reason, cricketers after their prime phase in the game often find other sources or businesses for the rest of their life. Encashing their craze Cricketers are turning into politics and some of them entering into films too. Some of the Biopics made about star cricketers raked moolah at the boxoffice. Azhar's Biopic starring Emran Hashmi, Kapil Dev's biopic '83 starring Ranveer Singh, Mithali Raaj's Biopic Sabhaash Mithu starring Taapse are some of them. Sachin's biopic Sachin which is made as a docudrama has made decent bucks while Dhoni's biopic Ms Dhoni starring late Sushanth Singh became a blockbuster at the box-office.
