Attempts to tarnish Adi Purush

When Young Rebel Star Prabhas signed Adi Purush under the direction of Om Raut of Tanhaji fame, everyone got excited as it happens to be Prabhas' first straight Bollywood project and also his first mythological entertainer. The film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Ram while Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan are playing the roles of Goddess Sita and Ravan. 

Om Raut revealed that Ramayan will be told in a different manner and Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif's characters are named Raghav, Janaki, and Lankesh. In the midst of all this, attempts are out to tarnish Adi Purush. While Om Raut is taking the film in a prestigious manner and using numerous VFX compared to Baahubali, TRS leader KTR shocked all saying Adi Purush promotes BJP ideology. 

He said BJP is promoting its ideology through films like Uri, Kashmir Files, Adi Purush, and many other such films featuring mostly Akshay Kumar in lead and predicted that Adi Purush will release during the 2024 general elections to help BJP. Netizens are trolling KTR for his insensitive comments as Lord Ram and Ramayan do not belong to any particular party.
