Another feather in Suriya's Jai Bhim

Suriya's Jai Bhim turned out to be the biggest hit in his career. Though the film had a direct release in OTT, it spellbound all with its realistic content and powerful take. The film got another honor when the renowned Academy Awards organizers featured a 12-minute scene in their official youtube channel.

On the Oscar Youtube channel, director TJ.Gnanavel explained the prevalent caste discrimination apart from custodial death highlighted in the film and that is prevalent in the country. Jai Bheem earlier got a rare honor of getting a whopping 9.3/10 rating on the IMDB website overtaking many top Hollywood films.

Jai Bhim is based on a real-life incident featuring Justice K. Chandru and featured  Lijomol Jose, Manikandan, Rajisha Vijayan, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, and others in important roles. Jai Bhim got rave reviews from all quarters and it is a proud moment for people across the country that Jai Bhim is getting recognition at the Oscars.
