The deadly virus Coronavirus has proved fatal across the world.  Many nations called out for lockdown to tackle the deadly menace. While it proved tad effective in controlling the menace but it proved dearly as it made some to witness scariest economic crisis.

Days ago, Telangana chief minister K.Chandrasekhar announced of reopening of theaters in the state soon. While it has come as a breather for the owners of cinema halls, the damage has already been done.

Effect On Single Screens

Popular Shanti theatre in Narayanaguda and Galaxy cinema hall in Tolichowki have now faced the brunt of Coronavirus and have now been shut down permanently. The single screens were already facing heat form the multiplexes. And the novel Coronavirus added the exiting woes. Following lockdown and no other source of revenue, Shanti theatre has got converted into a warehouse. Looks like, post lockdown relaxations also it’s difficult for single screens to sustain.
