Generally, when a top star's film is announced and the first look, teaser, trailer or the film's title is revealed, many waits eagerly to attack the makers alleging that they indulged in plagiarism or copied it from popular Hollywood or other regional language films or from renowned novels.

Mega fans got delighted when the makers of megastar Chiranjeevi's upcoming entertainer Acharya released the first look motion poster. Even as fans are celebrating, few accused the makers of copying the content.

It is known that the first look poster showed Chiranjeevi in a powerful manner in the backdrop of Dharmasthali. The film shows Chiranjeevi as a Naxalite in one of the roles. Now a writer named Kanneganti Anil Krishna, who registered his story titled Punyabhumi in Writers Association way back in 2006, alleged that the scene which comes after the titles after Acharya resembles the scene he depicted in the film.

This is triggering speculation whether the makers really lifted the scene or the writer is making allegations to hog the media limelight.

Acharya is being directed by Koratala Siva. The film which has completed 40 percent of shoot is announced to be released in summer, 2021.
