Director Gives Clarity On Prabhas’s Role

Today, young rebel star Prabhas’s 22nd film with director Om Raut has been announced officially. The film titled Adipurush will start rolling sometime next year and will hit the screens in 2022. Curiously, director Nag Ashwin who will be directing Prabhas in his 21st film gives clarity about the actor’s role in Adipurush.

“Very excited to see prabhas garu as Lord Rama...only very few actors have played him on the big screen before...good luck to the whole team! #Adipurush ,” tweeted Nag Ashwin. With this post, Nag Ashwin clarified that, Prabhas will be playing the role of Lord Rama.

Before that, there were doubts whether this film is based on Ramayan or Prabhas plays a role that will have the qualities of Lord Rama. Now, Nag Ashwin confirmed that, Prabhas will be essaying Rama.

There have been reports that, a star hero will play antagonist in the film. They will announce the name soon.
