Of late, some upcoming actors are feeling so pain and are expressing their grief publicly even if a small criticism made by media houses on them. Of course, whether that public outcry comes out of a state of melancholy or a publicity gimmick forms another story. Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi must stand an inspiration for every upcoming actor in terms of facing criticisms from the media. In his 42-year long professional career, hardly had he reacted harshly against media irrespective of the overboard criticism sometimes. CRITICISM ON Chiranjeevi IN 1980S

* How can this young hero be compared to legend NTR? No one can replace NTR's number one status in film industry. (In 1983)

* Action heroes Suman, Bhanu Chander and Arjun are doing much better than Chiranjeevi. He can't sustain their heat for longer. (Around 1985)

* NTR's son Balakrishna and ANR's son Nagarjuna entered with a rage. Now Chiranjeevi's time is over. (In 1984 and 1986)

BOTTOM-LINE: If any budding actor wishes to be a Megastar, one can face at least 10% of the criticisms received by Chiranjeevi. If not, forget about Megastar status, one can't even be a 'MINISTAR'.
