Do you remember, long ago before Power Star Pawan Kalyan floated Janasena Party and temporarily quit films, he signed a film with producer AM Ratnam for the remake of Tamil hit Vedalam. Santosh Srinivas was supposed to direct the film. However, the film got shelved as Pawan decided to enter direct politics then.

Now, this film goes to Pawan Kalyan’s elder brother megastar Chiranjeevi. As per our sources, Chiru is keen to star in Vedalam remake. Meher Ramesh is likely to direct the film. Currently, the director who is out of action for long is penning script for the same. The director along with his team is making few changes for the Telugu version, as suggested by Chiranjeevi.
